Crystal Watkins joined UIP in late 2022 as the Construction Accounting Manager. In the role, Crystal is responsible for driving performance through strategic planning, cost management, and implementing and maintaining cost effective accounting systems.

Prior to joining UIP, Crystal held several senior-level accounting roles at construction and MEP firms. Crystal prides herself on her attention to detail, outstanding financial reporting and analysis skills, and her depth of knowledge in construction accounting. Crystal earned a BS in Accounting from Morgan State University in Maryland.

When not talking about construction, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and tropical getaways.

As Vice president of UIPGC Craig J. Smith serves as the head of all construction activities.  Craig has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry including 36 years in the DMV in just about every phase of construction including small office fit outs to large commercial projects, from streetscapes/site development to adaptive reuse and repurposing, and from office buildings to renovations, multi-family, and mixed-use projects.  He and his teams have been recognized in the construction industry for their outstanding work on multiple occasions and he has belonged to multiple trade associations including being on the board of directors for the Building Congress & Exchange.  Craig works with Owners, Design Teams, Subcontractors and UIPGCs personnel to establish budgets, VE suggestions and solutions to provide a successful project for all involved.
