Sean Roddy is a Project Executive with UIP General Contracting, whom oversees all aspects of the projects – from initial budgets to final completion. Sean is responsible for design coordination, soliciting bids and budget proposals from the subcontractor community, contract negotiations and overseeing all construction phases. Sean’s role with in the General Contracting / Construction group is to recruit and develop talent, assist in the implement quality control procedures and sound construction practice for successful execution.
Prior to joining UIPGC, Sean was a member of the senior management team of Fore Properties, Plaza Construction, and Forrester Construction, overseeing residential high rise, condominiums, commercial base buildings, complete facade replacement, and mix use buildings. Sean has a long history in the Washington DC Metropolitan area working on numerous projects and developing of 20k units to date.
Sean is a veteran of the US Navy and a Maryland Native – born and raised in Rockville MD. He has been a member of Associated Building and Contractors, Metro, Maryland, and Virginia Chapters, NAIOP and USGBC.
Sarah Tull is a Senior Project Executive with UIP, responsible for the on-site construction and project administration of projects under construction. She leverages her extensive design-build experience to work with consultants, developers, and owners on design, project budget, schedule, value engineering, and changes.
Sarah has 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and had worked for Clark Construction Group and CBG Building Company prior to joining UIP. She has worked on a variety of project types, including multifamily, single family, renovation, historic renovation, and tenant interior construction.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia, holds LEED AP BD+C accreditation, and is OSHA certified. She is the Immediate Past President of the DC Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction, and currently serves on the Board of Directors.
Chris Lincoln joined UIP as Project Executive in December of 2019 where he provides leadership and executive management oversight for all phases of multi-family construction projects.
Chris comes to UIP with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Lincoln has completed construction on 5,000+ apartments, student housing, and condo units over her career with a combined project valuations of $700 million dollars. Most recently, he spent the past 3 years overseeing the overall health and wellbeing of construction projects and project teams for a nation-wide developer that included each projects’ budget, schedule, and safety.
Chris has held a General Contractors license since 1992.
Ted Clark is Director of Pre-construction for UIP General Contracting, Inc. Ted brings over 25 years of residential and commercial construction experience in the DC market to the team. He began his career in Pittsburgh, PA as owner of Timberline Construction building custom residential homes. After moving to DC in 1987, he joined The Korth Companies- a tenant improvement construction firm as their Chief Estimator.
Over his career, Ted has performed the role of consultant, advisor, pre-construction manager, and Senior Estimator. He has worked for some of the well-known general contracting firms in the area, including Manhattan Construction Company, Forrester, and Foulger Pratt. Upon joining Foulger Pratt Companies in 2013, he supported the development division with underwriting and pre-construction cost engineering for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial office building projects valued at over $280 million.
His wide range of experience covers complex and challenging projects, including St. Elizabeth Hospital and BWI Airport Renovation, Metropica Residential in Miami, The Thornton, Park Potomac, Art Place at Fort Totten, Trump Hotel (OPO) and the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters.
Ted has an associate degree for Allegheny College, PA and civil engineering/construction management studies for the University of Pittsburgh. He is an avid golfer and enjoys reading historical thrillers.
John Droppa is Senior Vice President of Construction for UIP, in which role he oversees all development and in-house general contracting construction activities for the company. John is responsible for design coordination, soliciting general contractor proposal, contract negotiations and overseeing all construction phases. John role for the construction group is to develop talent, implement quality control procedures and sound construction practice for success execution.
Prior to joining UIP, John was Vice President and Account Manager for two major international general contractors, Turner Construction and Skanska USA Building, overseeing residential high rise, condominiums, data centers, sports complexes, mix use, government building, top secret facilities and institutional building. John has both Washington DC Metropolitan area experience as well as National construction knowledge. John worked for Fisher Development early in his career overseeing Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic stores throughout USA.
John is a graduate of the Portland Bible College, part of Portland State University, with a BS in Psychology and Minor in Business Administration. He has been a member of Association of General Contractors, District of Columbia Building Industry Association, Associated Building and Contractors, Metro Chapter and USGBC.
