Urban Investment Partners buys Columbia Heights site for $2.4 million

“Urban Investment Partners has paid $2.4 million for the former Isabella Apartments in Columbia Heights, where it is planning to launch a complete rehabilitation to covert the property into nearly 40 apartment units.

UIP acquired 1483 Newton St. NW from a pair of sisters-in-law that inherited it from their husbands. It hopes to start a $5 million renovation of the 80-year-old building in the second quarter of 2013.”

UIP Completes $2.7M Renovation at 1346 Park Road, NW

“Urban Investment Partners (UIP) in partnership with Infinity Real Estate (IRE) of New York City has acquired a 114-unit apartment building at 1841 Columbia Road, NW in Washington, DC, formerly known as The Alcazar, for $26 million. The seller was Fairfield Residential Company. Arbor Commercial Mortgage of New York provided the acquisition and project debt financing for the venture.”

UIPGC Begins Renovations at DC Co-Op

The project is getting underway in June and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.”

UIP Acquires 21-unit Apartment Building In DC’s Columbia For $3.7 Million

The scope of work also includes opening up the balconies on the front of the building, restoring the original façade design, and eliminating previously added windows that are inconsistent with the original, historic exterior.”
